with a Friday Setup & Sunday take down

Join up for more than one shift!
When you’re done, enjoy all of the festivities.

Friday the 8th – Set Up – 9am to 6pm:
Roping/marking off zones for:

• Vendors – Clans – Band Row
• Heavy athletics fields – Animal paddocks
• Beer/Entertainment tents/pavillion
• Tent raising of small tents
• Merchandising pavillion
• Posting signage
• Set up parking lot entry

Saturday the 9th – Games Day – 8am – 8pm:

• Parking lot attendents
• Gate – Ticket Booth – Attendance
• Patrons – Hospitality
• Runners/Helpers/Assistants for:
  • Athletics – Dance – EUSPBA competitions
  • Entertainment – Announcers – Vendors
  • Social Media/Photography – Site Mgmt

Sunday the 10th – Take Down – 10am – 2pm

We are a dedicated group who believe in community and the preserving of our Scottish cultural heritage, as well as those of our sister Celtic nations, for the next generation.

Planning of the 2025 Games is about to begin. We need to strengthen the committee from within with new skill-set oriented volunteers.

New people = New Energy and New Ideas and we welcome yours.

Planning for and carrying out The Games each year is made possible by a variety of central New Yorkers who volunteer some of their time, knowledge and love of the Scottish & Celtic cultures to share with our community through our long-held traditional Scottish Games – to enjoy now and to ensure they continue for future generations.
